The chicken on the rotisserie looks very appealing to me!

We ordered the chicken shawarma plate. They also had chicken shawarma wrap and salad when we went too.

The chicken tasted like it had been cooked for hours to soak in all the flavors. I felt like there was a spice missing in the seasoning, but it was still appetizing.

I was getting pretty full from all the food truck hopping so I had to save the rest for later.

I came here one time late at night to get something to eat. It's a great location, being right next to the iconic voodoo donuts. I walked up and the employee was blasting music and smoking weed. When I mentioned something he got defensive. I walked away not ordering something. I don't care that it's legal, just don't use drugs while making food. I plan on calling the county and finding out who I can report this incident to

No one tried to cheat us out of our money and or food, so +1 star for that.

Well. My sister and I chose this place because she was hankering for a chicken shawarma plate in the wee hours of the morning.

    We ordered the following:

-chicken shawarma plate ($7): Chicken shawarma over...lettuce? Tomatoes? Strange things. And two helpings of very, very, very runny hummus along with pita bread - which, on the other hand, was quite good. Uh, the chicken was whatever. It was chicken, grilled on a stove top and then powdered with some sort of seasoning. My sister was most disappointed in the hummus because it was SUPER runny and kinda gross. And maybe a hazard to eat.

-pita gyro ($7): Very okay. And strangely garnished with too many vegetables. I ate it and felt somewhat satisfied but in no way did I think to myself, "God, this is good." The meat was grainy and for some odd reason, the gyro was drenched with THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING. Thousand Island! Why!

Portland has very many of these gyro/shawarma places. Do yourself a favor and venture a little further into downtown.

This place is nothing but bad vibes. Myself, my sister, my husband and two other male friends stopped by on 08.27.17 around 9pm so the guys could grab a bite after leaving an event on the waterfront.  During a short amount of time my sister and I noticed many red flags. To start with, there was a African American male with a table set up right in front of the food cart, he was selling small odd ball things and was communicating with the Arabic men in the food cart. While my sister and I stood there, two younger girls maybe 17, slightly intoxicated and a little under dressed were walking by. The man at the table asked the girls how old they were along with small talk. The girls walked away and the man laughed at the guys running the cart and said "Hear that, they are legal". I had noticed during this time one of the men in the food cart was touching and adjusting the machine you run your card through while it was directed at these young girls (as if they were taking pictures or recording them) I suddenly noticed another Arabic man standing by a car in a dark corner in the parking lot next to the food cart...he was staring at my sister and I. As soon as the guys received their food the men in the food cart turned music on super loud (as there was no music playing while ordering or waiting for our food), and they ALL got out of the food cart and walked over to the car in the parking lot...they didn't get in but were talking to someone. I honestly have a BAD feeling that these men are possibly running a trafficking ring. There is NO these men are just slanging drugs...the behavior of all these things was just way to unsettling.  I advise not going here...and what better set up than right up the street from the clubs :/ Sleazy no good is all I felt.

The meat tasted really great but it was two small pieces of lunchmeat style sliced.  Not sure how you call a portion that small a gyro but I was still starving after the entire sandwich and that never happens!
